An Ozark man is in custody Thursday, charged with two robberies.
Christofer Petty reportedly robbed a man at the ATM Friday night at Colonial Bank on South Union Avenue in Ozark.
A video showed the suspect robbing the Shell station on Highway 231 North and Andrews Avenue.
Without showing a gun, he came behind the counter stole money out of the register then took off.
After reviewing surveillance video, Ozark police located Petty Wednesday morning hiding out.
“Security cameras are just an invaluable resource. They can detect what happened at the scene, help with witness testimony, and identify the perpetrator,” Eddie Henderson, Ozark Police.
Petty is in being held in jail with no bond.
