A car plowed into an Alabama church early Sunday morning leaving a gaping hole in the wall of the building.
Police said the driver fled the scene and remains at large Monday.
The pastor of God's Convenant Ministry International in Anniston said he received a call from a neighbor about the crash.
Anniston police say the car left a 35 foot hole in a metal wall.
Whoever was responsible managed to back out and drive away.
Workers patched the hole with plywood; it will cost about $20,000 to repair the damages.
