A grand jury has indicted a Houston County man for murder in the shooting death of his wife.
Sixty-eight-year-old Frank Bass was arrested last month after deputies found the body of 59-year-old Margaret Bass in the couple's trailer East of Cottonwood.
The victim was shot twice in the head and investigators said she may have been dead for almost two days.
During his first court appearance, Bass admitted to Judge Brad Mendhem that he killed his wife.
Bass is being held in the Houston County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
