Home Invasion Follow-Up

Three suspects have been charged in a home invasion robbery that left an elderly Henry County man seriously injured.

George and Helen Bryan were terrorized in their home last month. George Bryan was severely beaten before the suspects got away with a rifle, a shotgun and some cash.

Twenty-four-year-old Maurice Grimsley, 21-year-old Alvin Porter and 24-year-old Maynard Carey have all been charged with first degree robbery.

But Sheriff Lawton Ed Armstrong said the suspects also face charges in connection with two other crimes that were committed that same night.

Sheriff Armstrong said the Alabama Bureau of Investigation helped to solve the case.

Bond for each suspect has been set at $240,000.
