Dale County has confirmed its fourth case of rabies here in Houston County this year.
A fox found on Marley Mill Rd. tested positive for the disease.
There were no reported cases of rabies last year in Dale County.
However this year there has already been positive ID’s on two bats, one raccoon and one fox.
If you see or come in contact with a stray animal you believe may be rabid, you should seek medical attention immediately.
