Wiregrass residents showed their support for our troops overseas and those protecting us here at home.
Hundreds of people came out to show their patriotism at a rally held at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds.
They showed appreciation for the service men and women who are in combat and also to their families.
The event included gospel singing as well as other entertainment. Soldier family members expressed their thanks for the outpouring of support.
The rally ended with a number from the 98th Army Band in salute to all military soldiers.
