A former postal worker charged with capital murder in Dothan is trying to move his trial to another city.
Attorneys for James Holloman claim they can't get a fair trial in Dothan because of all the publicity surrounding the case.
Holloman is accused of killing his father-in-law, wounding his mother-in-law and another man then kidnapping his estranged wife at gunpoint.
The incident happened in Rehobeth in May of 2000.
Prosecutors said Holloman opened fire with a shotgun after slipping into the family's home through a back door.
A hearing in the case is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Right now, Holloman is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail.
