Hawk-Houston Boys and Girls Club

The Hawk Houston Boys and Girls club is giving kids an alternative to staying at home for the summer, and parent's an alternative to finding a sitter.

They are beginning registration for the club's 2006 summer program.

Kids will have the opportunity to have fun while learning, in the name of science.

The theme of this year's 8 week program is 'fun with science.

Each daily activity will revolve around science and be incorporated into the program's weekly field trips.

“It gives them the opportunity to socialize with other children their age and maybe a little older and younger,” said Monteka Freeman, Program Coordinator.

The summer program will begin June 5th. But sign up begins now.

A free lunch will be included but for more information call the Hawk-Houston Boys and Girls Club at 792-4618.
