Pike/Coffee County district attorney Gary McAliley says no charges will be filed against a Wiregrass man in a shooting.
On April 22nd, a three-year-old girl was shot in the arm by her father at their New Brockton home.
Authorities say Kevin Ensinger was placing the cylinder back on a 22-caliber handgun after he finished cleaning it. That's when it fired.
District attorney McAliley has ruled the shooting to be an accident, and no criminal charges will be filed.
The little girl received a minor gunshot wound, and was treated and released from a local hospital.
