The trial date for a capital murder suspect is being rescheduled again. Oscar Doster escaped from the Covington County jail with three other inmates in November 2002.
Paul Lemaster was shot to death in his trailer near Gantt the next day. Lemaster's pick-up truck was also stolen.
Doster was later re-captured.
He escaped from the Covington County jail again last year and became a suspect in another murder case.
When Doster was captured near Bakersfield, California, he was riding a 4-wheeler owned by a Texas man who had been shot to death a few days earlier.
No charges have been filed in that case, but the investigation is continuing.
District Attorney Greg Gambril says Doster should stand trial for the Alabama murder sometime in August.
