A Geneva County man is scheduled to stand trial for murder in Dothan next week.
20-year-old Seth Isaac Davis of Slocomb was arrested in December of 2004. He's charged with the shooting death of a Dothan man.
28-year-old Hollis Salinas disappeared in April of 2004 and someone tried to set fire to his apartment that same night.
The victim's bullet-riddled body was found floating in the little Choctawhatchee River more than two weeks later.
Prosecutors will try to prove DNA evidence links Davis to the crime.
The trial is set to begin next Monday before Judge Ed Jackson.
Davis is free on a $50,000 bond.
