An elderly Henry County couple were terrorized in their home this past weekend. George Bryan and his wife, Helen, were the victims of a home invasion robbery.

The victims still have physical and emotional scars from the incident.

The tranquilty of George and Helen Bryan's home near Shorterville was shattered around 3 a.m. Sunday by two men wearing stocking masks.

The suspects first broke into Bryan's truck and took a Remington 20-guage single barrel shotgun and a Winchester 22 caliber rifle. Then they forced open a back door and found an unlocked window off the screened in patio.

One of the suspects beat Mr. Bryan. The suspects finally left, taking only money and the guns.

The Bryans may be counting their blessings, but they've also installed a security system and armed themselves against future attacks.

Investigators are looking for two black men, 20 to 25 years of age.

One of the suspects is about 5’8” tall and 150 pounds, the other suspect about 6’ tall and 175 pounds.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in the case.
