Frontline Women

There are many women who are helping with the war in Iraq. One female soldier who is less than a mile behind the front lines is from Enterprise.

Her dad is a retired Army man, so he knows the trials his daughter is facing. He said she is a strong and a well-trained soldier.

Sergeant Jennifer Raichle went to Enterprise High School and joined the National Guard to help pay for her first year of college at Auburn University. She is an intelligence analyst assigned to the first brigade of the third infantry division.

Her mission is to study the Iraqi people and their weapons.

Her father saw her for the first time since she left two months ago on a computer clip of the CBS Evening News.

He said the community support has been tremendous and he said he shares the comments with his daughter when he talks to her.
