A Dothan company has expanded its global reach by landing a contract with Chinese business partners.
Pemco World Air services have entered into a contract with East Pacific Sirlines Company to convert four passenger aircraft to full air freighters.
East Pacific is an all-cargo airline based in China.
Pemco usually converts planes right here in Dothan. However, this time the work will be done in China's Shandong province.
Work on the first plane is already underway and work on the second is slated to start next month.
Pemco officials say they hope the overseas agreement will be the beginning of a long and successful partnership.
