A 1990 Elba High School graduate, who later graduated from Yale University law school, will be the attorney for the University of Alabama.
Enterprise city school board officials thanked Chad Tindol for five years of service as board attorney.
Chad and his family will soon be relocating to Tuscaloosa.
The 33-year-old Coffee County native says it's a tremendous opportunity that he could not pass up.
As Enterprise City school attorney, Tindol says he was most proud of getting the district removed from the 30-year-old federal desegregation plan.
