Women's Center Opening

If you've driven past Southeast Alabama Medical Center recently, then you have noticed things are a lot different around there.

Sunday marked the culmination of one of many advances and developments planned for the hospital. The ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the Women's Center at Southeast Alabama Medical Center was held.

Alabama's First Lady Patsy Riley was on hand to show her support for the new facility. She, along with Medical Center CEO Ron Owen, performed the honors of opening the new building.

It features specialized classrooms for expectant mothers to learn birthing techniques and provides a list of other amenities.

For more information about the Women's Center and its services or programs, call 712-3336 or 1-800-735-4998.
