The weather may have kept some people inside Saturday, but not those walking for a good cause.
Walk America was held Saturday to raise money for March of Dimes. People of all ages were invited to the event to walk the mile and a half long trail. Over 300 people made their way out to Eastgate Park for the event.
Money raised will benefit local children in need of a little assistance. Today's walk had less people than last year because of the weather, but the organization said the small number of walkers didn't keep them from reaching their financial goal.
