A Covington County man convicted of capital murder may spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Kenneth Henderson was found guilty earlier this week in the July 2002 shooting death of Judy Miller.
But district attorney Greg Gambril said Thursday the victim's family asked him not to seek the death penalty.
Judge Charles short has set sentencing for June 20.
