WTVY News 4 Upgrades

A number of News 4 viewers have called the station to ask about the poor reception they have been getting lately.

WTVY is in the process of upgrading the antenna system at the tower site. Our main antenna is being replaced with new digital equipment.

During the process, we're using a stand-by antenna, which operates at a lower power than we normally use. That's why some of you may be experiencing poor reception.

We hope to have work at the tower finished in the next few weeks.
