A man who police say was shot and killed because of a domestic abuse incident was buried Monday and his killer is still at large.
Funeral services for Larry Wayne Corbitt were held Monday at Patterson Street A.M.E Church in Dothan.
The 53-year-old Pinckard man was gunned down last Tuesday outside a family friend's home in headland.
Corbitt was changing the locks to the home of a woman who had sought a restraining order against her husband, 29-year-old Johnny Ramirez Thomas.
Police say Thomas broke into the home fatally shooting Corbitt.
Thomas's 12-year-old stepson and mother-in-law were also shot, but they're injuries were not life-threatening.
Police say Thomas is still on the run.
He's considered armed and dangerous and is wanted for murder and two counts of attempted murder.
A Crime Stoppers reward is being offered to help put Thomas behind bars. Just call the Crime Stoppers in either Houston (334) 793-7000 or Henry County (334) 585-5200 for tips that will lead to Thomas' arrest.
