Authorities Still Looking for the Henry County Man

Law enforcement agencies in the Wiregrass area are still looking for a 29-year-old Henry County man wanted for shooting one person to death and wounding two others.

The violence erupted in a Headland neighborhood Tuesday night.

Police Chief Mark Jones said Johnny Romarice Thomas of Headland is accused of killing 53-year-old Larry Wayne Corbitt of Pinckard.

Chief Jones said a 52-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy were also shot, but their injuries were not considered life threatening.

Authorities said the shootings stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Johnny Thomas allegedly broke into his wife's home after a restraining order was filed against him.

Thomas is considered armed and dangerous and he's wanted for murder and two counts of attempted murder.

A Crime Stoppers reward is being offered to help put Thomas behind bars. Just call the Crime Stoppers in either Houston or Henry County to collect.
