Graceville police tried to pull over a pick-up truck for going more than 80 miles per hour in a 35 zone around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
But the vehicle refused to stop and sped along Highway 2 and up 231 into Alabama at speeds topping 110 miles per hour. The truck eventually turned onto a dirt road and overturned in a ditch.
Thirty-nine-year-old Kelly Henry of Graceville was taken to a Dothan hospital with minor injuries.
He faces a number of traffic charges. Police said they’d also search his truck and try to find out why he was so determined to get away.
