The latest fire to destroy a small church in Alabama has been ruled arson.
Authorities are unsure if the fire was a copycat crime linked to the string of church arsons earlier this year.
The fire destroyed Blackberry Lane Community Church at Talladega.
Police Chief Alan Watson said there are no suspects.
The pastor, the reverend Allen Holley, said no one had made any threats toward his 38-member congregation.
The fire was reported about 2:50 Tuesday morning, when a passerby saw flames and stopped at a house across the street.
Residents called authorities, but firefighters were unable to save the brick
