Two days after being released from the Coffee County Jail on receiving stolen property charges, a Birmingham man is back behind bars.
This time, 34-year-old Anthony Caffey faces an additional charge of kidnapping. Caffey allegedly kidnapped a female acquaintance by forcing the woman into his vehicle at gunpoint in Enterprise.
Authorities say the victim distracted Caffey and managed to escape from the car.
Caffey will now have to post a $16,500 bond on the original charge of receiving stolen property.
In addition, he faces a $50,000 bond for kidnapping.
