Thursday afternoon, police served a search warrant at a house on South Magnolia Street in Samson, where 34-year-old Curtis Allen Connell has been living.
Police said he's been having sexual contact with a nine-year-old family member. The child has now been placed in the custody of relatives.
Connell is a convicted sex offender with a long criminal history.
Right now, Connell is in the Geneva County Jail waiting for his first court appearance.
Coffee County authorities are also investigating whether or not he had sexual relations with two other juveniles.
