Bomb Tested

The U.S. Military tested the largest conventional bomb in its arsenal Tuesday afternoon at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

The Massive Ordinance Air Blast or MOAB, weighs 21,000 pounds and was dropped out of a C-130 Transport plane.

The military is not giving details or saying whether the test was a success, but they did say the demonstration is part of psychological pressure being put on Saddam Hussein.

Pentagon officials think the bomb could be used on critical targets if the U.S. goes to war with Iraq.

The MOAB can destroy deeply buried targets. The MOAB is also known in the military circles as the "mother of all bombs."
