Jackson Resigned

Level Plains former mayor Tim Jackson will no longer be a bus driver for the Enterprise City School District.

Jackson submitted his resignation as a bus driver, effective on May 26.

He will remain on paid "administrative leave" until then.

Jackson was charged with disorderly conduct over the weekend after a routine traffic stop in Daleville.

Earlier this month, he was charged with assault after allegedly attacking Tyrus Waters, the new mayor of Level Plains.

In his written statement to the media, Enterprise school superintendent Dr. Jim Reese stated he will not have any further comments on the matter out of respect for the Jackson family.
