Former Level Plains Mayor Tim Jackson finds himself in trouble with the law again after getting arrested for a traffic violation.
Jackson was stopped on Highway 84, just east of Daleville, Sunday night.
Daleville police officers say he was speeding, but when officers approached him, they say he became very argumentative and disorderly.
That’s when Jackson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
He was eventually released on $200 bond, and he will have to appear in court at a later date.
The incident comes just weeks after Jackson was charged with assaulting the newly elected mayor of Level Plains, Tyrus Waters.
The court date for that incident has been set for March 28.
