The gift of life is running low in Dothan and the surrounding cities.
The Red Cross is looking for blood donors. The center is low on all blood types, but desperately need "O" positive and negative blood.
Anyone 17 years of age or older and weighing 110 pounds are eligible to give. The process takes between ten and twenty minutes and one pint of blood can save up to three lives.
Susan Holmes, American Red Cross Executive Director said, “We need o positive and negative blood. We are in real need of blood in this area, but we need all types of blood as well.”
If you would like to donate you can visit the center on Montezuma Avenue every Thursday from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.
