If you have a teen who would like to start babysitting, but needs some help learning more about first aid and infant care, Wallace Community College is offering the American Red Cross Babysitter Certification Course.
It helps young people learn how to handle any situation while caring for children.
Designed for youth, ages 11 to 15 and up, participants will learn safety practices, first-aid, child and infant CPR, handling all types of emergencies and respecting house rules.
The class will be held Saturday, March 15 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Technology Training Center. The fee is $30, which includes a handbook.
