Geneva County Rain

The Wiregrass area is finally getting a break from some of the soggy weather, but Geneva still has some big problems.

Within the last couple of days, the Choctahatchee River has risen from 10 to 14 feet.

It's expected to crest between 15 and 17 feet Thursday. Fortunately, that's about five feet below flood stage.

Local emergency management officials have reported only minor problems with road wash outs from the recent wet weather.
