Michael Sale accused of killing his wife has been found guilty of capital murder.
Prosecutors contended that 49 year old Michael Sale imprisoned and tortured his wife throughout the month of April 2004.
Telephone records show he called for an ambulance but by that time, 48 year old Lynn Sale was so weak, she had to be placed on life-support.
She was suffering from numerous injuries, including gangrene in her arms, legs, and nose, along with bite marks and extensive bruising.
She died two weeks later.
Jurors deliberated more than 3 hours Tuesday before reaching the guilty verdict.
The same jurors will now decide whether Michael Sale should face the death penalty or spend life behind bars without parole
Testimony in the sentencing phase of the trial continues Wednesday
