Dothan City Commission Meeting

Some Dothan property owners protested to the city commission Tuesday night. They are unhappy they have to pay thousands of dollars for street improvements that were finished before they moved in their homes.

The city paving project consisted of 43 unpaved streets and took five years to finish. The law says the current owners are responsible for the bill, but they think the previous owners should pay.

The board will discuss the questions and complaints that were presented and then vote on a resolution at the city commission meeting next Tuesday.
