Draft beer is another step closer becoming legal in Houston County.
The bill is now in the hands of all state senators for study. It will remain in the Senate for three days before any debate and a vote.
"We feel good about it being passed and getting it on the June ballot," said Mark Culver, Houston County Commission Chairman.
If Houston County residents approve draft beer sales in the upcoming June primary, each city with in the county will then decide whether to allow to the sales.
