The woman involved in the fatal car wreck that claimed the life of a utility worker turned herself in last night and has now posted bail.
Tammy Devane has been charged with manslaughter.
She was driving a car that hit 57-year-old utility worker John White as he was doing routine maintenance for the city on Cottondale road.
News 4 spoke with Dothan police authorities who say the case could go to a grand jury.
Devane has been charged because police say it was a 'wreckless act that caused the death of another"
Authorities wouldn't say exactly what Devane was doing seconds before Whites death, but said any other findings will go to the Houston County District Attorney's Office.
