A Houston County woman charged with multiple counts of embezzlement has pled guilty to the crime.

Grace White was accused of stealing from the Wiregrass Cotton Gin Company where she once worked. Investigators said an audit turned up more than a quarter of a million dollars in missing funds.

White pled guilty to 27 counts of theft of property. She faces up to 20 years in prison on each count. Sentencing is set for April 11.
