The Dixie tower in Downtown Dothan has come tumbling down, or at least its roof has.
Since 1897, the 150 gallon, 100 foot tower has been in operation.
But now city officials say its time for a change.
Tank pro contractors, from north port, Alabama have been called in to 'rehab' the tower.
In doing so, the 15-foot diameter tower will be re-done, and new paint will be blasted inside and out.
Depending on the weather, the Dixie tower rehabilitation project should be completed within the next two months.
