Investigators believe the men responsible for a string of Alabama church fires are probably "bosom buddies" in their 20s or 30s.
The latest fire at a Baptist church over the weekend is "definitely arson," according to the state fire marshal. It's the tenth one this month.
A federal investigator says witness reports and behavioral profilers are leading authorities to believe that two white men are responsible for the fires. Witnesses say they've seen two men in a sport utility vehicle near a number of the fires.
The churches are a mix of black and white congregations.
An official with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms says evidence indicates the arsonists may have been briefly trapped during one of the earlier fires and may have been hurt.
