Several officers have described the Riverside housing project as Fort Apache when the sun goes down.
At times there have been blatant sales of crack cocaine and marijuana, but over recent weeks Geneva Police have conducted traffic safety stops there. It's led to more than a dozen arrests on various drug charges.
Chief Lindsey says it's amazing to see how far away some of these crack addicts are coming from to buy drugs.
If the drug activity moves to another part of Geneva, Chief Lindsey says his officers will then intensify their efforts at the new location.
