A suspect in the death of a Dothan convenience store clerk is preparing to stand trial for his life.
20-year-old Ray Grace is charged with capital murder. He was back in court yesterday for a pre-trial hearing.
54-year-old Prah-Kash Shah was shot to death during a convenience store robbery in April of 2004.
Grace and two other suspects were arrested a couple of weeks later.
Judge Larry Anderson denied Grace's petition for youthful offender status and the suspect will stand trial as an adult.
Grace could get the death penalty if he's convicted.
The trial is tentatively set for March.
Grace is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail.
