The Hyundai automobile plant in Hope Hull is another step closer to reality.
The Montgomery County Commission unanimously approved a proposal to transfer 1,600 acres of land to the Alabama Industrial Development Board for site preparation for the new Hyundai plant.
Hyundai will build a $1 billion assembly plant on the property just off Interstate 65 south.
