Brown Announces Bid for Dothan Commission Seat

After 10 years in the business world, Dothan native Thomas Brown, is throwing his hat into the race for Dothan City Commission District Six.

Brown announced his plans on Thursday, surrounded by family and other supporters. He said that his experience in business, law and healthcare qualifies him for the position.

Although the race is non-partisan, Brown said he is a Republican, a product of the "Reagan Revolution." Brown pledges to practice fiscal responsibility by budgeting wisely, and to create a budget that reflects the people's priorities.

Currently Brown serves on the legislative and healthcare committees of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
