Thirty-one year old Zephaniah Moore waived his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday morning.
That means his case is headed for a grand jury.
Moore is charged in the shooting death of 51-year-old Travis Stringer.
The victim was gunned down outside his mother's home on Lake Street last month.
Police say the shooting stemmed from a drug deal that was paid for with counterfeit money.
Moore is being held in the Houston County Jail on a 125-thousand dollar bond.
