A grand jury has cleared staff members at the Covington County Jail of criminal wrongdoing in the escape of three inmates earlier this year.
Oscar Doster, James Harnage and Darryl Henry fled the facility the night of March 31st.
Doster later claimed in a jailhouse interview that they had "inside help" in their escape.
District Attorney Greg Gambril says a probe turned up no evidence that intentional acts led to the escape.
Doster and Harnage are suspects in the murder of a Texas man who was killed after the jail-break. Harnage had the victim's pick-up truck when he was arrested in Las Vegas.
Doster was riding the man's four-wheeler when he was arrested in California, but no charges have been filed in connection with that case.
