Ozark Robbery Arrest

A Dothan man is in custody after a convenience store robbery in Ozark early Tuesday morning.

37-year-old Thomas John Forshaw reportedly went into the Shell Station on 231 and St. Andrews in Ozark around 4:00 a.m. and demanded money.

Officials say he had his hand in his pocket indicating he had a gun.

The cashier gave him money then he left in a car, but she contacted police immediately with a car description.

Authorities stopped Forshaw on 231 just South of the inland gas station and arrested him without incident.

Ozark officials say Forshaw has been arrested in Florida more than 25 times for various charges.

He remains in the Dale County Jail without bond.
