A long-time lawman says he wants to continue serving the people of Houston County.
Lamar Glover announced yesterday he's seeking his fourth term as sheriff.
Glover spent more than 30-years as an Alabama state trooper before first becoming sheriff in 1995.
He says he's done a lot to reduce the crime rate in Houston County, but says he's also taken steps to help his department run more efficiently.
Glover says he also started the only licensed pharmacy in an Alabama jail to save even more tax dollars.
The sheriff's name will be on the democratic ballot in the June 6th Primary Election.
