The state and federal governments have cut funding to non-profit organizations.

This has resulted in several local organizations scrambling to find money. The Wise Center faced $83,000 in budget cuts, resulting in the loss of some administrative and counseling jobs.

The Wise Center offers various counseling services including classes for victims of abuse and anger management.

Those with the center say if they can't get enough revenue coming in and quick, they're going to begin charging for these services.

To offset losses, the Wise Center will be holding a benefit concert with counrty music singer Neal McCoy in hopes of raising $60,000.

The concert will be held this Saturday at 7:30 at the National Peanut Festival arena.
