The Alabama Department of Transportation will spend $75,000.

Phyllis Ireland works at a florist shop across the street, she says the signal is a long time coming.

Fortunately, the majority of the accidents have not been life threatening. Police hope it'll cut down on driver mishaps.

Before deciding on spending the monies, the state DOT did a traffic study which indicated a need for the traffic signal on Glover Avenue.

Enterprise officials have not been given a timetable on when the traffic signal will be installed, but, they hope it'll be early next year.
