A Houston County man convicted of beating a two-year-old girl to death more than 15-years ago went before the parole board yesterday to ask for his freedom.
Tyler Columbus Harvey, Junior was convicted of beating Candace Reynolds to death in 1989.
She suffered more than 30-marks and bruises and a massive blow to the head, which caused her to die.
Harvey was convicted of her murder and also found guilty of child abuse against her brother.
His parole was denied and he will not be eligible again until 2010.
