Senator Jeff Sessions was in the Wiregrass this weekend to share his views on Iraq and other issues. His first stop was in Enterprise.
Sessions commended the city and city officials on the growth and development taking place in Enterprise.
The senator commented on the Iraq issue, saying that the United States' credibility is on the line when dealing with terrorists. He said making an example out of Iraq will send a message to other rogue nations.
But he's reluctant to agree to a recent proposal that would allow the president to order an assassination of a foreign leader who threatens national security.
Even with the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, Sessions said he hopes the United States maintains its spirit of space exploration.
